Q: When did you start designing jewelry?

A: It all began in the early 2000s with my mother's collection of vintage buttons, which inspired me to create unique earrings, rings, and necklaces. A turning point came when she gifted me a 72-quart tube filled with a beautiful variety of beads from a market she would frequent in Southlake, TX, igniting my passion for beaded jewelry. What started as a personal obsession soon blossomed in August of 2014 into Ahavabynyzaiyah.com my online shop, where I continue to share my love for bold, Africa inspired statement pieces.

Q: What inspired you to start desiging jewelry?

A: My mother was an incredible source of inspiration. An artist in every sense of the word, she exceeded in singing, drawing, painting, sewing, interior design, and jewelry design. Her passion for creativity influenced me deeply, fostering my own artistic journey. Jewelry design is a special way for me to honor her legacy and express my creativity.
