Mama Loves You

Those were the last words I heard from my mother. Soft, simple, and full of everything I ever needed to know. A few days later, she passed away. And now, those words have become a permanent echo in my heart—something I hold on to when the world feels too heavy and the grief sneaks in quietly.
There’s this huge void that no one really talks about—the kind that settles in your chest when you lose someone who made you, shaped you, loved you so fiercely. It’s a kind of silence that can swallow you whole. And honestly, there are days when it does.
But even in that space of loss, something powerful was left behind.
My mother passed her creativity on to me.
And I feel it everywhere—in the way I cook, the way I decorate, the way I nurture and care for my family. She was a force when it came to creating beauty and building a home, and I just hope that I carry even a fraction of that same strength.
Now, when I sit down to design jewelry, I realize… this is my offering. My way of keeping her spirit alive. Every bead I string, every clasp I close, every piece I finish—it's like I’m stitching her love into something you can see and touch.
Creating jewelry has become my therapy, my prayer, my tribute. It's how I honor her legacy and the love she gave so freely. That’s what Ahava by Ny’zaiyah is built on—not just beauty, but memory. Not just style, but spirit.
So when you wear a piece from my collection, know this: it was made with intention. With heart. With the love that was passed down to me. And I hope it brings that same energy to you—wherever you are on your journey. Because love like hers? It doesn’t disappear. It transforms. It lives on. In me. In this work.
