To get the most wear out of your jewelry you must always handle it with care.

 

 

{ Metal Components } - Raw brass & pure copper are my metals of choice (unless noted otherwise) and they will tarnish/patina over time (Tarnish and or develop a green or brown film on the surface). This is common oxidation and it happens when the metals are exposed to oil, water, and air over time. No Worries though, it can be removed and the shine can be restored with a little cleaning and polishing. Here is a DIY cleaner I use:

Brass/ Copper Cleaner

You will need 1/4 cup salt, 1/4 cup flour, and enough white vinegar to make a thick paste (eyeball it!). Mix well and use a soft cloth to rub the paste on the surface of the copper/brass. Buff until it shines. Rinse with warm water and dry thoroughly.

 

This works well for me however you can google "DIY brass and copper cleaner" and find one that works well for you!.

 

{ Stretch Bracelets } - Stretch bracelets are made with a strong clear elastic cord that will not fray but may over time lose some elasticity from overstretching, so be careful and try to roll these pieces on and off your wrist.

{ Waist Beads } - Stretch Waist Beads the same rules for stretch bracelets apply to stretch waist beads... kinda. With stretch waist beads you will need to put them on over the smallest part of your body leading to your waist. Again try not to over-stretch when putting these on or taking them off. Stretch waist beads are made with the exact measurements you give me when you place your order.

Waist Beads with a clasp -   Created with beading wire, these are easy to put on and remove. You just unhook these, but be careful not to snag your beads, they will pop with enough force. I extend all waist beads with a clasp by 1 inch. Also do not bunch up your waist bead, this will cause damage and weak spots that will also lead to them popping. Store these waist beads by keeping them wrapped in a circle or hanging them somewhere safe.

Waist Beads Created With Minerals/Stones/Crystals - Waist beads created with minerals over time may cut through cording and pop (elastic or bead wire), so be as gentle with these as you can.
